The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to submit to the attention of users of statistical information electronic publication Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The issue represents the results of NSI survey of state and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) during the 2001 - 2004 period. The level, structure and dynamics of main macroeconomic indicators for the activity of the small and medium- sized business (employment, turnover, value added, production, labour productivity, etc.) are investigated by applying a comparative analysis to the sector of the enterprises with bigger scale of production.
The tendencies of the SME economic development are analyzed. The character and intensity of relations and dependences between main macroeconomic phenomena and the ongoing changes of their structural balances are studied.
The publication is available on CD-ROM.
